Green University® LLC Presents... Orientation and Work Projects Welcome to Green University® LLC and River Camp! We'll start the fall season with a two-week Botany and Foraging Intensive. Then we'll take a few days to get Immersion students settled into life at River Camp. Move into the wickiups, earthlodge, or your own tent, and start working on basic skills. Be prepared for a blend of warm and chilly fall days and fun and games, depending on day-to-day weather. We will tackle fall projects to prepare for winter, including cutting and hauling firewood and stocking the larder with roadkill game. This fall we hope to finish the roof on the circular "tire palace," to expand our winter crafting space. We will also host an Apple Cider Party. Fall is also a great time for fun and games in the field, especially Scout Sword, Coyote Tails, and Double Ball: Tom will be on site for the nice days, while transitioning to winter office work during blustery days. We will help you get started on crafting projects to work on at your own pace, plus you can check books out of Tom's extensive library. By the end of October, we hope to have students settled in and ready for the Deer Processing Intensive.
